Fábio Barros started in cutlery in 2015 as a self-taught artist. He went get knowledge and made course with his friend Leo Moraes, since he dedicated to new profession with zeal and recived many  awards, in Brasil and abroad.

In 2022, in  Atlanta, United States, he won the title of Jorneyman Smith, awarded by the American Bladesmith Society and he won like the best JS in that year.

In 2024 he took Master Smith test, title that only three cutlers has been in Brasil. Barros achivied the title with apresentation never seen, he won “B.R. Hughes Award” for the best knife knife sumitted to the MS test. So, he won the award “Best Art Knife”, in Blade Show 2024.

The simplicity and humility are characteristics that define him well. Barros is focus in his work, always looking for inovation, he likes chanllenges and he is always lookin for knowledge. His most inspiration is his family for whon he dedicate his awards and success.
